Prticipation in the World Finals
Two teams qualified to participate in the World Finals, 2001: Matrix team from Sharif University of Technology, and Ferdowsi team from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.The contest was held during March 7-10, 2001, in Vancouver Canada. This was the second participation of Iranian teams in the World Finals.
In 2000 Finals, two teams from
Sharif University of Technology (named Arvand) and
from Amir Kabir University of Tech (AKUT) qualified. But only
the AKUT team could attend the contest. The arvand team's visas
were rejected and they participate in a remote site in Netherlands.
